JH Drama

Holly earned her BA in English with a Writing Concentration and Secondary Education certification from Gettysburg College. She also studied vocal performance as a soprano at Gettysburg College’s Sunderman Conservatory. While at Gettysburg College, she participated in various theatrical productions and vocal ensembles. She earned her Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and Children’s and Adolescent Literature from Penn State University. Holly actually attended Hollidaysburg Area School District as a student. While there, she was an active member in Fantazia, Concert Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Full Orchestra, Marching Band, and the theatre programs. Junior Theatre was where she really became passionate about theatre, so she finds it very rewarding to direct the program now and to try to provide the rewarding experience for students that she got to experience as a student years ago.
